Family is everything. Coming from a family that has a strong political foundation comes with lots of privileges and expectations. As for some politicians, being in the face of politics has been due political Dynasty, rather politics being in their bloodline, which was passed down to them.
1.President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Uhuru succeeded his father The late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta as president of Kenya though years apart. He is currently the president of the Republic of Kenya.
2. Raila Odinga.
Like father like son. Raila is also the opposition leader to two government regimes, Kibaki’s and President Uhuru’s. He currently is the NASA Leader.
3.Musalia Mudavadi.
He succeeded his father Moses for the Sabatia constituency parliamentary seat succeeded him to rule until 2007. Musalia is the pioneer of the National Super Alliance, a grouping of opposition leaders seeking to vie for the presidency in 2017 in order to unseat incumbent President Uhuru.
4.Gideon Moi.
The former president of Kenya Daniel Arap Moi served as Baringo Central member of parliament until 2002 and his son succeeded him in until he ran for Baringo
Senator under the new constituency.
5.Eugene Wamalwa.
The Water CS Eugene Wamalwa inherited the Saboti constituency parliamentary seat in 2007, after the death of his brother Kijana Wamalwa. Eugene is still in the political arena.
5.Joyce Laboso.
The late Lorna died in a plane crash in Narok county in June 2008. Her sister, Lorna, succeeded her for the Sotik constituency parliamentary seat in a by-election in September 2008.
7.Tom Kajwang.
Tom Kajwang succeeded his brother the Late Otieno Kajwang in who was the Homabay Senator, although under wrangles with other potential candidates who were eyeing the seat.
