This article focuses on the annual license fees for health facilities in Kenya. All registered and eligible health facilities in Kenya are supposed to pay an annual license fee.
Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council is the body mandated to regulate the training, practice and licensing of healthcare institutions in Kenya and to ensure the provision of quality and ethical healthcare. This includes private & mission hospitals, medical, dental centers, clinics, nursing & maternity homes and standalone funeral homes.
Annual licenses and any other licenses can be applied online by visiting the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council online services portal that is available on osp.kmpdc.go.ke.

Payments can be made via M-pesa paybill number 992 836, swift payments or cash/cheque deposits through Kenya Commercial Bank, Account Number 1103158643. For M-pesa payments, there is a system generated invoice number on the online service portal.
