The staff is genuinely warm and knowledgeable about what they sell. The greens served with the food makes Tamarind a healthy eating place. On Fridays, they always have a band which plays some good music which I found to be entertaining.Their prices are a bit high but believe me, it’s worth it.

Talisman is one of the best restaurants in Nairobi if not the country. I must say that its garden setting makes it a perfect choice for a romantic dinner. The food here is exceptional and their wine list is extensive. This is also a great place for entertaining friends and family for that special celebration or clients in town for some business. It is not cheap but you will be pleased you made the effort. Be sure to reserve a table, especially at weekends. It gets very busy.

The location is excellent, a spacious garden with play stuff for younger kids.On Saturdays you also find the organic market at their premises giving everybody a chance to buy organic grown veggies.
