This article focuses on Centenary Sacco membership eligibility and requirements. Centenary Sacco is a registered and licensed savings and credit cooperative which aims to offer affordable financial services and drive its members to economic prosperity.
The idea of having the society was first thought of in 1999 due to the need to have convenient, efficient and fast services. It was officially registered in 2003.
In 2009, the Sacco opened its first FOSA offices in Meru Town, along Meru- Nanyuki Road. It has other branches in Chuka, Kinoru, Mutuati and Marimanti.
The Sacco has seen its membership grow from 800 members in 2008 to over 30,000 members to date with an asset base of 1.32 billion.

Anybody above 18 years is free to join the Sacco.

- Duly fill the membership application form which is available on the Sacco’s website or can be obtained from the Sacco’s offices or branches.
- Copy of National ID.
- Copy of KRA PIN certificate.
- Passport size photo.
