This article highlights all course offered at KMTC Ugenya Campus and their fee structure.  KMTC Ugenya Campus was established In September 2016 and is situated in East Ugenya Location, Ugenya Sub County, within Siaya County. The campus is located approximately 10 kilometres off the Kisumu-Busia highway. It was established through the collaborative efforts of the KMTC Board of Directors and the Ugenya Constituency Development Fund.

Courses Offered at KMTC Ugenya Campus

Currently, KMTC Ugenya Campus offers the following diploma and certificate courses:

  1. Certificate in Community Health Assistant
  2. Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology
  3. Diploma in Community Health Assistant
  4. Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, D+ in English or Kiswahili, D in Biology/ Biological Sciences, D in any of the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics/Physical Sciences, Agriculture, Home Science

Course Duration: 2 years

  • Certificate in Health Records and Information

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, C- in English or Kiswahili, and D in Biology/ Biological Sciences. D- in Mathematics and D+ in any one of the following: – Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, General Science, Computer Studies, agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, and Business Studies

Course Duration: 2 years

  • Diploma in Community Health

Requirements: KCSE Mean Grade of “C” (Plain). Mandatory subjects: “C-”  (Minus) in English or Kiswahili “D” (Plus) in Biology or Biological Sciences. A minimum of “D” (plain) in any one of the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Home Science, Agriculture, Physics, or Physical Science.

Course Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and C- in Mathematics D+ in Biology/Biological Sciences C- in any one of the following: Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, Business Studies

Course Duration: 3 years

For clinical experience, KMTC Ugenya Campus sends its students to various public hospitals, sub-county level hospitals, and referral hospitals across the country.
