This article highlights courses offered at KMTC Isiolo Campus and their fee structure. KMTC Isiolo Campus was established in September 2016 with the support of the Isiolo County Government. The campus is one of a few KMTC campuses in the Northern region of Kenya. It is situated within the premises of Isiolo Level 5 Hospital.

Courses Offered At KMTC Isiolo Campus And Fee Structure

KMTC Isiolo Campus offers a variety of courses designed to meet the healthcare needs of the community. The programs currently offered include:

  1. Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology
  2. Community Health Development
  3. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
  4. Diploma in Community Health Nursing
  5. Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

 

  • Community Health Development Short Course

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, C- in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. D+ in any one of the following: – Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, or Mathematics

Duration: 24 months

  • Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, C- in English or Kiswahili, and D in Biology/ Biological Sciences. D- in Mathematics and D+ in any one of the following: – Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, General Science, Computer Studies, agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, and Business Studies

Duration: 2 years

  • Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and C- in Mathematics D+ in Biology/Biological Sciences C- in any one of the following: Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, Business Studies

Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/ Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry/Physical Sciences C- in any one of the following: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences

Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Community Health Nursing

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in any one of the following: Chemistry/Physics/ Physical Science or Mathematics

Duration: 3 years
