KMTC Makueni Campus, established in March 2014 with the support of the KMTC Board of Directors and the Makueni County Government, is located in Wote town, Makueni County. It is adjacent to the Makueni County Teaching and Referral Hospital.

KMTC Makueni Campus currently offers 7 courses; 1 certificate course, 4 diploma courses, and 1 upgrading diploma course as listed below.

  2. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
  3. Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences,
  4. Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology
  5. Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN),

Requirements: Mean Grade D+, D+ in English or Kiswahili and Biology/ Biological Sciences, D in Chemistry/Physical Science. D in any one of the following: Home Science, Agriculture, Mathematics, Physics, General Science.

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/ Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry/Physical Sciences C- in any one of the following: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences

Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Community Health Nursing

Requirements: KCSE Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in any one of the following: Chemistry Physics/ Physical Science or Mathematics

Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Environmental Health Sciences

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in Mathematics and any one of the following: Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry

Duration: 3 years

  • Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and C- in Mathematics D+ in Biology/Biological Sciences C- in any one of the following: Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, Business Studies

Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Mathematics and Physics/Physical Sciences. C- in any one of the following: – Biology/Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Electricity, Metal Work, Technical Drawing

  • Upgrading Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

Requirements: Holder of a Certificate in Community Nutrition/ Nutrition & Dietetics/Food Science & Nutrition KNEC Certificate in Nutrition & Dietetics for TVET graduate

Duration: 2 years

For clinical experience, Makueni County Referral Hospital acts as the main site for KMTC Makueni Campus students. The school has also collaborated with several healthcare institutions in the region to provide for the same. They include
