This article lists all courses offered at KMTC Molo campus and their fee structure. Located in Molo town, adjacent to Molo Sub County Hospital, KMTC Molo Campus has been serving as a centre of excellence since its establishment in March 2016. The campus Sets a precedent for inclusive education with a strong commitment to addressing the needs of individuals with hearing impairment.

Courses Offered at KMTC Molo Campus

At KMTC Molo Campus, the following programs are currently offered:

  1. Certificate in Health Promotion for the Deaf
  2. Certificate in Sign Language for Health Workers
  3. Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

 

Certificate in Health Promotion for the Deaf

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, D+ in English or Kiswahili, D in Biology/ Biological Sciences, D in any of the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics/Physical Sciences, Agriculture, Home Science

Duration: 2 years

Certificate in Sign Language for Health Workers

Requirements: Certificate in any course. Suitable for Health workers & those
interested in working with the deaf
Duration: 6 months

Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics

Requirements: Mean Grade C-, D+ in English or Kiswahili and Biology/ Biological Sciences, D+ in Chemistry/Physical Science D in any one of the following: Home Science, Agriculture, Mathematics, Physics, General Science

Duration: 3 years

These programs provide students with specialized knowledge and skills in promoting health for the deaf community, sign language interpretation for healthcare professionals, and nutrition and dietetics for the prevention and management of diseases.

Acknowledging the value of hands-on experience, the campus forms partnerships with health centers close to the school, ensuring students receive comprehensive practical training. These health  institutions include:

  • Kenyatta National Hospital
  • Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital
  • Molo Sub County Hospital

KMTC has recently released the Fees Structure for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.  The structure is available for both self-sponsored students and government-sponsored students. Below are the details.

Deposits can be made at any branch of the bank nationwide. Also, note that the college does not accept direct cash payments on campus.
