Students primarily undertake placements at Webuye Sub-County Hospital and Bungoma Sub-county Hospital for their clinical experience. They also have the opportunity to gain specialized clinical experience at other approved health facilities such as Mbale, Mosoriot, Sirisia, Cheptais, Naitiri, Bokoli, Kabuchai, Makunga, and Bumula. Rural community health experiences are facilitated at County Teaching and Referral Hospitals including Nakuru, Kakamega, Kisumu, Siaya, and Kisii, specifically for psychiatry experience.
Apart from academic pursuits, the campus encourages students’ participation in various clubs, societies, and sports activities as part of their extracurricular engagement. The sports policy is upheld, and the campus has excelled in the College games, with outstanding performances in volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, netball, and athletics events, earning several trophies in races such as the 10,000 meters and 100 meters, among others.
