Mount Kenya University Nakuru campus is one of MKU’s 16 constituent campuses and learning centers spread both within the country and the East African region. The school was established in 2010 and is located along Oginga Odinga Avenue at the MKU Annex in Nakuru town.

Since its establishment, the campus has experienced significant growth in student enrollment, staff recruitment, physical infrastructure, and most notably, its program offerings.

The application process for Mount Kenya University Nakuru campus is simple.

To apply, visit the institution’s website and download the MKU application form. Fill in the form and email it, along with your academic documents, to apply@mku.ac.ke.

Alternatively, you can deliver the application in person or mail it to the institution. The duly filled application forms should be addressed to the Registrar- Academic Administration. The required documents for the application include a copy of your National ID or Passport, copies of relevant academic documents (such as KCSE, KCPE, or professional certificates), and application fee receipts of Ksh. 1,000 for certificates, diplomas, and undergraduate programs, or Ksh. 2,000 for postgraduate programs.

Campus Facilities

The campus boasts modern facilities to support teaching and learning, including science laboratories, computer laboratories, a library, and a journalism studio. The Great Rift Plaza (GRP) Campus building houses these facilities, along with a student center and clinic. Additionally, student hostels are conveniently located approximately 600 meters from the campus.
