Nyandarua National Polytechnic is a recognized public Technical Training Institute established in 2006 through the collaborative efforts of the local community and leaders. It is situated approximately seven kilometres from Nyahururu Town, along the Nyahururu-Gilgil road.

As a fully accredited TVET Institution, Nyandarua National Polytechnic operates under the authorization of the Ministry of Education and provides Technical, Industrial, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Training in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act and Science and Technology Act.
