In this article, we will cover the courses offered at the Dairy Training Institute and their fee structure. The DTI (Dairy Training Institute) is located along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in Naivasha. It was established in 1963 to provide trained personnel for the dairy industry.
The Dairy Training Institute is managed by the State Department for Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock Fisheries and Cooperatives. It is licensed and registered by the TVETA (Technical and Vocational Education Authority) to offer programs in Dairy Science Technology and Dairy Management.

a) Diploma Courses
The programmes are offered on a Full-Time basis for 2 and a half years (5 Semesters).

- Diploma in Animal Health and Production

b. Certificate Courses
The programmes are offered on a full time basis for one year made up of two (2) Semesters
- Certificate in Dairy Production and Processing
Fee: Ksh 71,800
- Certificate in Dairy Technology and Management
Fee: Ksh 71,800
- Certificate in Animal Health and Production
Fee: Ksh 123,700
