NIC Multi-Currency Prepaid Card
The card is available to both NIC customers and non-customers and it offers multi currency transactions in KES, EURO and USD whereby one can load each of the currencies directly to the wallet.
The card also allows transactions done in EURO and USD to be completed with the same currency. However, if the currency is insufficient to complete a transaction, it will be paid through the KES wallet if the funds are sufficient.
For other foreign currencies besides the above, they shall be converted to KES in order to effect any transaction.
There is no minimum loading amount while maximum amount that can be loaded per day is capped at KES 500,000
Fees
There is an activation fee of KES 485 while replacement of the card if lost will cost KES 500.

The card offers multi currency transactions in USD,EURO and KES, it is issued instantly upon application, the funds are easy to access, convenient to use since it Visa branded and can be used globally for retail and online shopping, hotels, healthcare facilities, restaurants, fuel stations, Visa branded ATMs etc.
It also offers safety and security through pin and chip technology as well as instant blocking of the card in cases of theft or loss of the card.

Loading procedures
The card can be loaded via different ways via any NIC Bank Branch Countrywide, online banking, NOW banking app and also via Mpesa Paybill number 445992 in KES currency.
