This article focuses on Dimkes Sacco membership eligibility and requirements. Dimkes Sacco started in 1999 as an exclusively mothers union (ladies) sacco with member deposits as low as Kshs 500.

The Sacco has tremendously grown and is now a reputable financial institution with a membership of over 29,800 and an asset base of 2.46 billion.

Its mission is to holistically transform lives through sustainable economic empowerment while being socially responsible and meeting stakeholders’ needs.

Dimkes Sacco is licensed by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) as a deposit-taking Sacco and has operated a front office since the year 2010. Its systems are fully automated and has employed the highest standards of management in running day-to-day affairs.

Membership is open to all individuals, groups/ chamas and corporate bodies.

Dimkes Sacco Membership Requirements

  • Fill a membership application form which can be downloaded from the Sacco’s website or obtained from any of its offices countrywide.
  • Attach a copy of National Identity Card (ID), passport size photo and KRA PIN certificate.
  • Membership fee of Kshs 500.
  • Minimum share capital fee is Kshs 1,000.
  • Immediately you fill in the registration, you shall be given an account number. You will only pay the registration fee once the Sacco’s officers have duly and fully registered you.
  • Member contributions/ payments can be done over the counter, via Mpesa paybill number 804800 or use standing order or the Sacco’s swift codes.

Note:

  • When using the website to register, one has to first register on the Sacco’s portal then proceed to register as a new member. Fill in the required details correctly to avoid errors.
  • Once you have completed the process, you will get an email confirmation and feedback from customer service officers regarding your account number.
