Flight Training Centre Courses And Fee Structure

This article highlights courses offered at the Flight Training Centre and their fee structure. Established in 2008, Flight Training Centre is one of the accredited aviation training schools in Kenya by The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCCA). The school’s main campus is located at Wilson Airport, Off Langata Road in Nairobi. Additionally, they have campuses in Mombasa (Moi International Airport) and Nyeri (Nyaribo Airstrip).

Flight Training Centre Courses And Fee Structure

1. Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

Course Duration: 4- 6 months

Course Requirements

The minimum age for one to be issued with a Commercial Pilot License is 17.
One must demonstrate the ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language.
Have a valid Class 1 Medical certificate.
Have a valid Student Pilot’s License.
Achieve minimum flight time as stipulated in the Civil aviation regulations.
Pass all stipulated theory examination

Private Pilot Licence (PPL) Fee Structure

40 minimum flying hours @ $210	$8400

2. Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) 

Course Duration : 7-12 months

Course Requirements

1. The minimum age for one to be issued with a Commercial Pilot License is 18.

3. Have a valid Class 1 Medical certificate.
4. Have a valid Private Pilot’s License.
5. Achieve minimum flight time as stipulated in the Civil aviation regulations.
6. Pass all stipulated theory examinations
