How to Pay for Parking in Laikipia County

1.      Pay Via USSD

  1. Dial *861# to access the registration menu.
  2. input your full name as it appears on your identification documents.
  3. Provide your identification number to verify and authenticate your registration.
  4. Once you’ve registered, you can now proceed to make payments
  5. Navigate through the menu and choose the service you wish to pay for. Here, select “Parking.”
  6. Choose the specific parking zone you want to pay for. Options are Nanyuki, Rumuruti, Nyahururu, Kinamba, and Marnamet.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make a parking payment using Laikipia Pay.

  1. Visit laikipiapay.com on the web or download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
  2. Register by providing your details.
  3. Confirm your account through the SMS OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number.
  4. Log in using your ID number and password.
  5. Click on “Street Parking” to access parking services.
  6. Three parking options are available: daily, seasonal, and reserved parking. Daily Parking – Specify your vehicle type, registration number, and parking zone. Seasonal Parking – Choose vehicle type, number plate, parking duration (usually 1 month), parking zone, and start day. Reserved Parking – Similar to seasonal parking, input the required information.
  7. Enter the necessary information and click “Next.”
  8. Select “Pay Now” to initiate payment
  9. An MPesa prompt will appear, requesting your Mpesa PIN for payment.
