How to Qualify For Tala Loans in Kenya
To qualify for a loan from Tala, you need to download their app from Google Play and register as a customer. During the registration, you will be required to answer some questions ( answer the questions correctly because they will play a big role in the approval of your loan) and enter your Mpesa number where the funds will be disbursed to. After finishing the registration, the app will collect data from your phone which they will use to process your loan. Your call frequency and Mpesa transaction history are among the data that they will get from your phone.
After completing the registration, you can now apply for a loan which will be processed in 5 minutes. As a first time applicant, you will be given Ksh 2,000 and no security will be required. Upon approval, cash will be sent instantly to your M-Pesa account. You will be charged a one-off processing fee of between five to 15 percent of the loan which must be repaid up to in six months.
