Power outages can at times be disappointing and frustrating especially for businesses that require electricity to operate. The outages can be caused by weather conditions, accidents, animals, natural calamities, vandalism or planned interruptions by KPLC.
In most cases, KPLC issues alerts early enough and provides a list of areas scheduled to have power outages or interruptions as a result of maintenance works by the company. The alerts or notices are usually posted on the company’s website, social media handles and in the local dailies.
You can conveniently report power outages to KPLC through USSD or by using KPLC’s self-service portal. The company has a self-service portal where customers can conveniently access all services.
