Commercial Bank Of Africa (CBA) is the largest privately-owned bank in Kenya which has been operating from 1st January 1967. Its head office is located at CBA Building, along Mara and Ragati Roads in Upperhill, Nairobi. As of 2020, CBA has 34 branches countrywide.
The bank mainly focuses on large corporations, institutions, diplomatic missions, NGOs and high net-worth private clients. It’s synonymous with two revolutionary banking products; Mshwari and Fuliza. CBA uses Mpesa to facilitate most of its mobile transactions. This way, you can transfer funds from your MPESA mobile account directly to your CBA account.
To make this transaction successful, you need to know your CBA bank account number and CBA’s Mpesa Paybill which is 880100.
Below is a simple guide on how you can send/transfer/deposit money to your CBA account using Mpesa.
1. Go to your Mpesa Menu
2. Select Lipa na Mpesa
3. Select Paybill
4. Enter 880100 as the Business number
5. Enter your CBA Account Number
6. Enter the amount you would like to deposit into your account
7. Enter your Pin number and press OK.
8. You will receive a transaction confirmation message from Mpesa and CBA
The maximum amount you can send to your account using Mpesa is Ksh 70,000 per transaction.
