Kencream Sacco Membership Eligibility & Requirements

This article focuses on Kencream Sacco membership eligibility and requirements. Kencream Sacco is a licensed deposit-taking sacco formed in March 2002 by a group of staff from New KCC.

The Sacco was formed to promote thrift among its members by affording them an opportunity for accumulating their savings and to create thereby a source of funds from which loans can be made to them exclusively for provident and productive purposes, at fair and reasonable rates of interest.

Kencream Sacco has registered positive financial growth over the years while its membership which is now drawn from different parts of the country has increased tremendously.

Kencream Sacco Membership Eligibility

The Sacco draws its membership from;

  • Parastatals.
  • Private businesses.
  • Government ministries.
  • Organised groups.
  • Other organisations

Kencream Sacco Membership Requirements

  • Membership form duly filled and signed. The form can be downloaded from the Sacco’s website or can be obtained from the Sacco’s offices or from delegates at every location where the sacco has members
  • Copy of National ID.
  • KRA PIN certificate.
  • Passport size photo.
  • Registration fee of Kshs 1,000 payable once.
  • Share capital contribution of a minimum of Kshs 15,000. The amount is non refundable. It attracts dividends and is transferable upon withdrawal of membership.
  • Minimum monthly contribution of Kshs 3,200 for salaried employees while non-salaried Kshs 1,700.
