Kisumu Impala Sanctuary Park was Gazetted in 1992 to protect the endangered impalas within the Lake region. The facility hosts impalas, buffalos, giraffes, cheetahs, lions, leopards, a rhino, baboons, hyenas, hippos, monkeys, ostriches, warthogs, jackals, serval cats, bushbucks, Guineafowls, zebras, parrots, over 115 species of birds, and many other animal species.
