In this article, we will have a look at Kisumu Impala Sanctuary Park entrance charges. It is an animal sanctuary located along Harambee Road in Kisumu City – approximately 3 kilometres from Kisumu CBD on the shores of Lake Victoria.
Kisumu Impala Sanctuary Park was Gazetted in 1992 to protect the endangered impalas within the Lake region. The facility hosts impalas, buffalos, giraffes, cheetahs, lions, leopards, a rhino, baboons, hyenas, hippos, monkeys, ostriches, warthogs, jackals, serval cats, bushbucks, Guineafowls, zebras, parrots, over 115 species of birds, and many other animal species.
The sanctuary is a perfect spot for birdwatching, nature walks, boat rides and hiking activities. On top of that, the park’s five campsites (Impala, Sunset, Albizia, Baboon, and Simba) provide spectacular views of Lake Victoria. It is actually one of the top 10 best places to visit in Kisumu County.
