This is the fee structure of KMTC for regular and self-sponsored students as of 2024. The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is a government Corporation under the Ministry of Health which offers health training in various academic programs.
The institution was established in 1927 and is currently the largest medical training institution in East and Central Africa. It has an estimated student population of 34,000 students pursuing more than 70 medical courses across their 65 branches in Kenya. KMTC produces an average of 8,000 graduates every year for both the Kenyan public and private health sectors which accounts for more than 80 per cent of Kenya’s hospital workforce.
Below is the year 1 fee structure for students joining KMTC.

Students are always encouraged to pay applicable year’s fees in full at the beginning of the academic year but may pay in instalments (1st Installment Kshs 63,200.00 payable on/or before registration and Kshs 59,000 on/or before the commencement of 2nd semester.
