KUTRRH Training Institute For Specialized Nursing Fee Structure

This article covers the fee structure of Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Training Institute for Specialized Nursing (KUTRRH -TISN). The KUTRRH Training Institute for Specialized Nursing is a tertiary training institution approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) in 2021. The institute offers a higher diploma in specialized nursing courses.

Courses Offered 

  • Kenya Registered Oncology Nursing (KRON)
  • Kenya Registered Critical Care Nursing ( KRCCN)
  • Kenya Registered Nephrology Nursing (KRNN)
  • Kenya Registered Peri-Operative Nursing (KRPON)

Duration: 1 year full-time

Entry Requirements
  • Registered nurse (BScN, KRN/ Midwifery or KRCHN) recognized by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Should have a minimum of 1-year post-registration experience
  • A valid nursing practicing license

Fee Structure

Tuition fees: Kes 212,500 (Exclusive of *NCK fees)
NCK fees: Kes. 22,900 (Paid directly to NCK) for indexing, registration and licensing examination
 Note
  • Students MUST have valid NHIF cover or any other medical insurance during their study period
  • Students must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B before joining 
  • International Students shall pay 20% more

Application

An application fee of Kes. 1,500 paid through the Hospital’s Bank account or Mpesa Paybil

  •  A scanned copy of your academic and professional certificates,
  • The Bank Receipt for your application fee,
  •  An application form (Available here) and
  • A Valid NCK license.
