This is the self-sponsored students’ fees structure of Laikipia University for the academic year 2020/2021. It’s one of the 31 accredited public universities in Kenya that was established in 1929. It became a fully-fledged university in 2013 when it was awarded a charter by President Mwai Kibaki. The varsity’s main campus is located 11Kms from Nyahururu town. It has other 3 satellite campuses in Nyahururu Town, Nakuru Town and Maralal.
Laikipia University has a total enrolment of approximately 10,000 students across its four schools; School of Humanities and Development Studies, School of Business, School of Education and the School of Science and Applied Technology. The minimum entry requirements for a degree programme is an aggregate KCSE grade of C+ (PLUS) or a relevant Diploma from a recognized institution.
