This article focuses on all courses offered at RVTTI and their requirements. The Rift Valley Technical Training Institute was started in 1962 as a technical and trade school until 1986 when it was elevated to become a technical training institute, the first one in the region. RVTTI is located in Eldoret town, 3 kilometres from Eldoret CBD along the Eldoret-Kaptagat road.
The TVET institution offers higher diploma, diploma, certificate, and craft courses focusing majorly on the practical aspect of each program. Courses are offered on a full-time basis and are divided into 8 academic departments.
