This is a list of all banks on PesaLink. It is a real-time 24-hour digital payment service that allows for bank-to-bank transfers at a low cost. PesaLink was launched by Integrated Payment Services Limited (IPSL), a subsidiary of the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) in 2017.
The inter-banking money transfer service allows one to conveniently send money directly to the recipient’s bank account by simply using their mobile phone number. With PesaLink, you can directly send or receive as little as Ksh 10 up to Ksh 999,999 instantly. It is accessible through various bank channels: Mobile banking, Internet banking, ATM, agency and branch. To use PesaLink, follow the procedure below.
How to Link your Phone on PesaLink.
- Using your preferred Bank channel (Mobile, USSD, Mobile App, ATM, internet, agent or branch), select “PesaLink” from the menu
- Select “Link Your Phone” on the PesaLink menu option
- Select the “Account Number” you want to link from your list of accounts
- Select “Yes/ No” to designate your main account for payments
- Confirm the details displayed on the page which you selected in steps 3 and 4
- You will receive an SMS confirmation notification from PesaLink
How to Send Money to a Phone number using PesaLink
- Select PesaLink on your Bank’s menu
- Select “Send To Phone” on the PesaLink menu option
- Enter the Recipients “Phone Number”
- Select Bank Name from the list of bank names
- Enter amount to pay
- Enter the reason for payment
- Confirm the details displayed on the page, which you entered in steps 3 and 4. The recipient’s name will also be displayed
- You will receive an SMS confirmation notification from PesaLink indicating the name of the recipient, amount sent and bank name.
How to Send Money to a Bank Account Using PesaLink
- Select PesaLink on your Bank’s menu
- Select “Send To Account” on the PesaLink menu option
- Enter the Recipients “Account Number”
- Select the first letter of the Bank Name from the provided list
- Select the Bank Name from the list
- Enter amount to pay
- Enter the reason for payment
- Confirm the details displayed on the page, which you entered in steps 3 and 4.
- You will receive an SMS confirmation notification from the bank indicating the recipient’s account number, bank name, amount sent and reason for payment
