List of Best Football Academies in Kenya

Kenya has produced, and continues to birth world-class talents like Victor Wanyama, thanks to local football academies across the country, honing young and skilled talents. Actually, some of the top football teams in Europe rely on homegrown talents which cost nothing to buy and these players make some of the most successful football players in the world. This is because of the coaching and training they were exposed to at a very young age.

1. JMJ Soccer Academy

The Academy has managed to place three players in top clubs in Europe. The three include Victor Wanyama who plays for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur , Ayub Timbe who currently plays as a forward for Beijing Renhe in the China League One and Johanna Omolo who plays for Belgian club Royal Antwerp.

Friendship International Sports Academy – FISA was started back in in 2006 by its directors, Dr. Maurice Awang Owuor and Mr. Amit Shah. The academy aims is to support and nurture children sporting talent, mainly in soccer. The school draws children and teenagers from neighboring hoods such as Mukuru slum and south B .

6. Cheza Afrika

Cheza Afrika is a soccer youth project operating in South B Mukuru Fuata Nyayo and its environs. The project was founded and registered as a CBO back in February 2008. It uses soccer as a tool to mentor children and teens.
