2. Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

KMTC makes the biggest single contribution to the health sector in Kenya. It has about 71 constituent campuses spread across major towns in Kenya. The school offers excellent nursing courses at both certificate and diploma levels.

3. Cicely McDonell College Of Health Science

The school was opened in 1956 and is currently in collaboration with the Nairobi Hospital, one of the best private hospitals in Kenya. It offers a wide range of nursing courses such as oncology nursing, critical care nursing, neonatal critical care nursing, accident&emergency nursing.

4. Kijabe School Of Nursing

It is a Christian based middle level training institution that was founded in 1980. It offers training in nursing courses at diploma/higher diploma level.

7. Nazareth Medical College

Nazareth Medical College was started in 2005, with a mission of fostering professional nursing education and promoting excellence in nursing practice. The school offers a 3 years basic diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing.

8. PCEA Tumu Tumu Nursing School

It is an affiliate of the Tumu Tumu Hospital that is owned by the Presbyterian Church. The school is fully accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya to train respective nursing courses and other basic medical courses.

9. Consolata Nursing School

It is a catholic school that was established in 1946 by missionaries, to offer training on various nursing courses. The school offers diplomas in nursing courses that take 3 years.  Intakes are usually in October and April.

10. Kenyatta National Hospital Nursing School

The nursing school was established in 1996 to build capacity for specialised areas such as critical care unit, theatre, renal and newborn unit. It offers post-basic specialised nursing courses and short courses for health care workers. All the courses are approved by the Nursing Council of Kenya. The courses include; critical care nursing, peri-operative nursing, nephrology nursing, neonatal nursing, oncology nursing, accident and emergency nursing.

11. The Karen Hospital Medical Training College

Established on 3rd September 2013, the school is accredited by the Nursing Council Of Kenya to offer a diploma in Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN). It is part of  The Karen Hospital.
