This is a list of cemeteries in Nairobi. There are several designated places in Nairobi where the dead are laid to rest. Most of the cemeteries are managed by the County Government of Nairobi.

Here is a list of cemeteries in Nairobi

1. Lang’ata Cemetery

Lang’ata is a 120-acre cemetery located on Lang’ata Road. It is one of the biggest public cemeteries in Kenya, managed by the County Government of Nairobi. It consists of permanent and temporary graves. Permanent graves cost Kshs 30,500 for adults and Kshs 4,000 for children. Temporary graves cost Kshs 7,000 for adults and Kshs 4,000 for children.

2. Kariokor Cemetery

Kariokor Cemetery is one of the oldest and most popular cemeteries in Kenya. Several notable leaders have been buried at the cemetery. It was named after the Carrier Corps of the first world war. The cemetery is located in Kariokor, Starehe Constituency, near Kariokor Market.

3. Nairobi City Park Cemetery

Nairobi Park Cemetery, also known as City Park Cemetery, is located in City Park, opposite Aga Khan Hospital. It can be accessed via Limuru Road and Forest Road.

4. Nairobi War Cemetery

Nairobi War Cemetery was opened in 1941 by British military authorities. It is located along Ngong Road, on the southwestern outskirts of Nairobi. The cemetery is always open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

5. Bohra Cemetery

Bohra Cemetery specifically serves the Bohra community. It is located on Quarry Road, near Kariokor.

8. Nairobi South Cemetery

Nairobi South Cemetery is located on Uhuru Highway. It mainly contains commonwealth burials of the 1st World War.

7. Jewish Cemetery

The Jewish Cemetery is part of the Nairobi South Cemetery. It is located in City Park, along Forest Road. It serves the Jewish community living in Kenya.

8. Nairobi (Quarry Road) Muslim Cemetery

The cemetery is located on Quarry Road, in Kariokor, approximately 2km from the city centre. It is always open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

9. Nairobi South Jewish Cemetery

Nairobi South Jewish Cemetery is part of the Nairobi South Cemetery located on Uhuru Highway. The first burial conducted in the cemetery was in 1909.

10. Nairobi Forest Road Cemetery

It is located near the roundabout at the Pangani end of Forest Road.
