China still tops the list of countries Kenya owes a lot of money according to a report from the national treasury. The data says that China’s loans to Kenya since 2015 have now totalled 520 billion with Japan following closely at Sh82.48 billion while France closes the top three at 62.25 billion. Kenya also owes multilateral institutions such as the Asian Development Bank, IMF, The European Investment Bank and Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa billions of money.
