List Of County Sacco Branches In Kenya

This is a list of County Sacco branches in Kenya. The genesis of County Sacco is traced to 1991 when it was registered by the commissioner for cooperative development under the Cooperative Societies Act Cap 490, under the name Rukuriri Tea Growers Savings & Credit Cooperative Society.

It was registered in order to serve tea farmers whose tea proceeds were marketed by Rukuriri Tea Factory and other tea factories such as Mungania and Kathangariri Tea Factory.

The society has since rebranded to County Sacco, which means an ambitious Sacco with a strategic focus on all counties in Kenya. It was licensed to undertake savings and credit business in 2011 by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority to take deposits from the general public.

With an asset base of 0.68 billion, it is one of the largest deposit-taking Saccos in Kenya.
