This article highlights courses offered at KMTC Chwele Campus, their requirements, and everything you need to know about the campus. Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Chwele Campus is a reputable institution located in Kabuchai Constituency, Bungoma County, off the Bungoma/Kimilili junction.
The campus sits on a spacious 29½ acre land that was procured by the Constituency Development Fund through the initiative of the then area Member of Parliament Hon. Moses Wetangula and the Iranian Government.
List Of Courses Offered At KMTC Chwele Campus
KMTC Chwele Campus currently offers two courses: the Certificate in Health Records and Information and the Up-grading Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology.
- Certificate in Health Records and Information
Requirements: Mean Grade C-, C- in English or Kiswahili, and D in Biology/ Biological Sciences. D- in Mathematics and D+ in any one of the following: – Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry, General Science, Computer Studies, agriculture, Home Science, Economics, Geography, Commerce, and Business Studies
Duration: 2 years
- Up-grading Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology
Requirements: Certificate in Health Records and Information
Duration: 2 years
Admissions for these courses are open twice a year, in March and September.
However, the campus has plans to expand its academic offerings in the coming years. Among the programs set to be introduced are:

- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse
- Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
