This is a list of courses offered at KMTC Kisii Campus. KMTC Kisii Campus was established in 1958 under the colonial administration to train dressers and nurses. Since then, the institute has grown to offer both certificate and diploma courses in various fields including registered community health nursing, clinical medicine and surgery and medical laboratory sciences.
The institute is situated along Kisii Hospital Road and is adjacent to the Kisii County Teaching and Referral Hospital within Kisii Central Business District.

KMTC Kisii Campus offers the following courses;
- Certificate Course in Medical Engineering
Requirements: Mean Grade C-, C- in English or Kiswahili, D in Mathematics and D- in Physics/Physical Sciences. D in any one of the following: Chemistry, Biology/Biological Sciences, Electricity, Metal Work, Technical Drawing
Duration: 2 years
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in any one of the following: Chemistry or Physics/ Physical Science or Mathematics
Duration: 3 years
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry/Physical Sciences C- in any one of the following: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences
Duration: 3 years
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences and Chemistry/Physical Sciences, C in any one of the following: – Physics/Physical Sciences, Mathematics
Duration: 3 years
- Diploma in Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and C in Biology/ Biological Sciences C- in any one of the following: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences, Chemistry
Duration: 3 years
- Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia for Clinical Officers and Nurses
Requirements: Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery
Duration: 2 years
Students at the campus have their skills further developed in various practical areas. This include majorly the Kisii County Referral and Teaching Hospital and other county, sub county hospitals and rural health centres within the county.
