This is a list of courses offered at Kenya Medical Training College KMTC Nyahururu Campus. KMTC Nyahururu is located in Nyahururu town within Laikipia County Referral Hospital. The campus was established in May 2016 with the objective of addressing the critical staffing shortage in the health facilities in the County.
It started training Diploma in Health Education and Promotion in May 2016. The steady growth saw the campus add two other programs in 2019: A diploma in Nursing and a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.

- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in any one of the following: Chemistry/Physics/ Physical Science or Mathematics
Duration: 3 years
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery
Requirements: Mean Grade C, C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/ Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry/Physical Sciences C- in any one of the following: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences
Duration: 3 years
- Diploma in Health Education & Promotion
Requirements: KCSE Mean Grade of “C” (Plain). Mandatory subjects: “C-” (Minus) in English or Kiswahili “D” (Plus) in Biology or Biological Sciences. A minimum of “D” (plain) in any of the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Home Science, Agriculture, Physics, or Physical Science.

Nyahururu campus anticipates increasing student enrollment in their next subsequent admissions. To this effect, the institute has newly constructed classrooms and ablution block, Renovated classrooms and offices, a well-stocked library, a Computer Lab, a bus, and students’ Hostels. There is also an ongoing Construction of storied tuition and administration blocks.
Students also have a number of clinical experience sites for practical lessons and training. These facilities are:
