This is a list of Gazetted Public Holidays in Kenya. During the public/bank holidays, all government offices and most companies remain closed except for essential service providers such as hospitals and police stations.
The list below can be of much assistance if you are planning to visit Kenya for a business meeting or even when making a business call. Also, for those coming to Kenya as tourists please note the listed days are bank holidays. Make sure you are well versed with the Kenyan public holidays days so that you don’t get stranded.
Please note that if the holiday falls on a Sunday, then the next day; Monday automatically becomes a public holiday.
