Chief Justice David Maraga carried out a major reshuffle in the High Court by replacing many judges in Milimani law courts with those serving in different stations in different counties countrywide.
A total of 18 judges were given a notice of being reshuffled. Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga during his tenure also reshuffled a record 105 judges in an attempt to enhance service delivery in courts. Former CJ Evans Gicheru also did the same sometime back in 2009.
The reshuffles saw the likes of Justice George Odunga, Justice Mwongo and Justice Nyamweya among many other judges being moved to different stations countrywide.
