Chief Justice David Maraga carried out a major reshuffle in the High Court by replacing many judges in Milimani law courts with those serving in different stations in different counties countrywide.
A total of 18 judges were given a notice of being reshuffled. Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga during his tenure also reshuffled a record 105 judges in an attempt to enhance service delivery in courts. Former CJ Evans Gicheru also did the same sometime back in 2009.
