The National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is the largest and most affordable health insurance provider that enables Kenyans to enjoy many benefits from as low as Ksh 500 per month. For Kenyans in the formal sector (civil servants), it is compulsory to be a member while for those in the informal sector and retirees, membership is open and voluntary.
