This is a list of NTSA motor vehicle inspection centres in Kenya. NTSA was established through an Act of Parliament (Act Number 33), on 26th October 2012. The authority was established mainly to harmonize the operations of key road transport departments and help in effectively managing the road transport sub-sector.
One of the major mandates of the authority is to conduct motor vehicle inspection and certification to ensure that vehicles conform to road rules and regulations. The inspection is usually spearheaded by NTSA’s directorate of motor vehicle inspections, which also serves other functions such as booking of motor vehicle inspection and the regulation of public service vehicles.
