Pathology is a branch of medicine that deals with the study and diagnosis of disease through examination of surgically removed samples of tissues(biopsy), organs, body fluids, and in some instances the whole body (autopsy). A pathologist is a medical doctor specialized in examining bodies and body tissues.
In Kenya, most pathologists work for the government in government facilities. However, there are a few who provide their services privately.
