Difference Between Psychologists and Psychiatrists
Psychologists are often confused with Psychiatrists. Please note that Psychiatrists are medical doctors while psychologists are not. Psychiatrists can prescribe medication while psychologists can’t. Psychiatrists can also admit people to hospitals, which psychologists can’t do. Psychologists mainly focus on providing talk therapy to patients.
