Just a short drive from Nanyuki, this private conservancy is the best upcountry and out of the town break for families who want nothing but a secluded and serene location to unwind. 3. Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, Mara
Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is a popular safari lodge within the Mara. It is situated on the spur of the Oloololo escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, and it boasts spectacular views of the mighty Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp has 12 Classic tents, 20 Superior tents and 8 Superior View tents, some with views over the bush and others set out in the grounds. The Superior tents are in the grounds with partial sprawling Masai Mara views while the Superior View Tents have uninterrupted exceptional views of the Masai Mara.
4. Sanctuary Farm, Naivasha
Sanctuary Farm is a unique paradise with abundance in wildlife habituated to people where one can walk or ride at close proximity to herds of wildebeest, impala, zebras and giraffes. This is a perfect place for climbing Mt Longonot, rock climbing & gorge walking in Hell’s Gate, game viewing in Nakuru Park.
