A total 142 students managed to score a mean grade of A in just released 2017 KCSE Results by CS Fred Matiangi. This was just one grade above 2016’s 141. There was half the decline in the number of A-minuses compared to last years’ 4,645. Nairobi county’s Pangani Girls High School produced this years’ top candidate as Moi Girls Eldoret and Alliance High school produced the second and third respectively.

Out of the 615,773 candidates who sat the 2017 KCSE exam in 9,350 centers, with only 70,073 candidates attaining the university entry mean grade of C+.
