This is a list of Top Gear Driving School branches. Top Gear Driving School was founded in 2007 to provide quality driving lessons to ordinary people with one car and one branch. Since then, the school has grown exponentially, expanding to multiple locations countrywide and becoming a leader in road safety education.
Top Gear Driving School Courses
1. A2- Motor Bike
- Enables one to ride a motorcycle above 50cc.
- Can carry a maximum load of 60kg (for up to 400cc).
- Can carry a passenger.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
2. A3- Tuktuk
- Motorcycle taxi, couriers, three wheelers (eg. tuk-tuk).
- Enables one to ride a motorcycle above 100cc.
- Can carry a maximum load of 100kg (for up to 50cc).
- Can carry a passenger.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- 1 year riding experience of category A2.
3. B1- Light Vehicle (Automatic)
- Enables one to drive a light vehicle (passenger car) with an automatic gear box and a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3500 kg with one light trailer (not exceeding 750kg).
- Cannot drive a vehicle equipped with a manual gearbox.
- Can carry up to a maximum of 7 passengers.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
4. B2 Light Vehicle (Manual)
- Enables one to drive a light vehicle (passenger car) with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3500 kg with one light trailer (not exceeding 750kg).
- Equipped with a manual or automatic gear box.
- Can carry up to a maximum of 7 passengers.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
5. B3 Class
- Enables one to drive a light vehicle (passenger car) with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3500kg with one light trailer (not exceeding 750kg).
- Equipped with a manual or automatic gear box.
- Can carry up to a maximum of 7 passengers.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
6. C1- Light Truck/ C2- Medium Truck Endorsement
- Enables one to drive a heavy truck with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 7500kg with maximum one light trailer not exceeding 750kg.
- Equipped with manual or automatic gear box.
Requirements
- 22- 65 years (with B2 license for at least 2 years).
7. D1-14 Seater (PSV) Endorsement
- Enables one to drive a light vehicle (passenger car) with an automatic gear box and a maximum gross vehicle weight of 3500kg with one light trailer (not exceeding 750kg).
- Cannot drive a vehicle equipped with a manual gearbox.
- Can carry up to a maximum of 7 passengers.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
8. D2-33 Seater PSV Endorsement
- Enables one to drive a heavy truck with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 7500kg with maximum one light trailer not exceeding 750kg.
- Equipped with manual or automatic gearbox.
Requirements
- 22-65 years (with C1 license for at least 4 years).
9. CE- Heavy Truck With Trailer
Requirement
- 28-65 years (with 4 years experience of driving category C).
- No passengers.
10. F- Persons With Disability
- Special driving license for persons with disability.
- Enables one to drive a vehicle depending on the category the person with disability is trained on.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Requirement is as per the class categories of abled drivers.
