This article focuses on little cab driver requirements in Kenya. Little cab is one of the taxi-hailing apps in Kenya. It was launched in 2016, in a partnership between Safaricom and Craft Silicon Ltd.

Little cab provides on-demand ride request service with an array of car categories to choose from, ranging from economy to comfort to some of the unique features of little such as a preferred driver option and no price surge.

Little Cab Vehicle Requirements

  • The vehicle must be fully registered as a PSV along with an inspection sticker. The vehicle must pass inspection.
  • Copy of logbook and NTSA inspection report.
  • PSV insurance.
  • Music Copyright Society (MCSK) sticker.

Little Cab Driver Requirements

  • Valid driving licence.
  • Certificate of good conduct.
  • Valid PSV Licence and badge.
  • National ID.
  • KRA PIN Certificate.
  • Passport size photograph.
  • The driver will be required to fill out a declaration form by little cab.
  • An authorisation form for screening purposes.

How to Join Little Cab as a Driver

2. Once you have installed the little app or logged in via the little website, you will find two options to choose from, Become a driver or Become a partner.

3. Choose the option, ‘Become a little driver.

4. Choose your country.

5. Click on Register driver.

6. A page will be displayed where you will be required to fill in some information, particularly personal details.

7. Ensure you fill in the required information correctly then submit.

8. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided once you have submitted your application.

9. You will receive a call for interview once your documents have been verified.

Alternatively, to register as a little cab driver, you can personally visit little cab offices for registration from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
