This article focuses on Malindi Marine National Park & Reserve entrance fees as of 2024. It is one of the five marine national parks in Kenya. The magnificent park is located in Malindi, off the Kenyan Coast. It can be accessed using Marine Park Road.
Malindi Marine National Park is endowed with aquatic life. It is home to over 600 species of fish, dolphins, turtles, anemones, crabs, lobsters, sea cucumbers, prawns, octopuses, dugongs, and diverse birdlife. The park is also a treasure of beautiful coral gardens, fringing reefs, seagrass beds, mangroves, and mudflats. Visitors can enjoy glass-bottom boat rides, windsurfing, snorkelling (thanks to the park’s turquoise & crystal-clear water), camping and beach walks.
Fun Facts:
- Malindi Marine National Park is the oldest marine park in Africa.
- If you are lucky, you can watch the migration of the majestic humpback whales from June – September.
