– This is a 1-month loan whose minimum borrowing amount is KES 200
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000, the interest charged will be KES 75, therefore total payable amount is KES 1075.
2. KCB MPESA- 3.66% ( 1.16% interest fee + 2.5% one-off negotiation fee )
– This is a 1-month loan whose minimum borrowing amount is KES 200
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000, the fee charged will be KES 37, therefore total amount repayable is KES 1037
3. ZENKA- 29%
– This is a 30-day loan whose minimum borrowing amount is KES 500
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000, the interest charged will be KES 290, the repayable amount will, therefore, be KES 1290
4. OKOLEA- 2-day ( 5%), 7-day ( 8%), 14-day ( 11%), 21-day ( 13%) and 30-day (15%) applicable ONLY to loan amounts of KES 600 and above while constant at 15% for loan amounts of KES 599 and below.
– This is a 2-30-day loan whose minimum borrowing amount is KES 100
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000, for 2 days, the interest fee will be KES 50, therefore total repayable amount will be KES 1050
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 7 days, the interest fee will be KES 80, bringing the total repayable amount to KES 1080
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 14 days, the interest fee will be KES 110, bringing the total amount to KES 1110
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 21 days, the interest fee will be KES 130, bringing the total amount to KES 1130
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 30 days, the interest fee will be KES 150, bringing the total amount to KES 1150
5. JAZIKA- 3 weeks ( 30.2% ) and 4 weeks ( 25.2% )
– This is a 3 weeks and 4 weeks loan whose minimum amount is KES 300.
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000 for 3 weeks, the interest charged will be KES 302, therefore total repayable amount will be KES 1302 payable in 3 weekly installments of KES 434.
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 4 weeks, the interest charged will be KES 250 bringing the total repayable amount to KES 1250 payable in 4 weekly installments of KES 313.
6. SHIKA – 15%
– This is a 30-day loan whose minimum borrowing amount is KES 500.
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000, the interest charged will be KES 150, therefore bringing the total payable amount to KES 1150.
7. UBAPESA- 10 days ( 10% ) and 20 days ( 14% )
– This is a 10 day and 30-day loan whose minimum loan amount is KES 500.
– For example, if you borrow KES 1000 for 10 days, the facilitation fee charged will be KES 100 bringing the total repayable amount to KES 1100.
– If you borrow KES 1000 for 20 days, the facilitation fee will be KES 140, therefore the total repayable amount is KES 1140.
