This article focuses on Mount Elgon National Park entrance fees. It is one of the 22 national parks managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS). The park is located partly in Bungoma County and Trans Nzoia County on the Kenya-Uganda border.
A designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Mt Elgon National Park is characterized by pristine tropical rainforests, lava tube caves, a caldera, cliffs, glacial tarns, valleys, waterfalls, streams, and springs. It is home to elephants, over 144 species of birds, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, leopards, gazelles, waterbucks, hyenas, duikers, antelopes, wild cats, and bush backs.
The park is a paradise for nature lovers. It has one of the best hiking trails in Kenya. On top of that, you can do biking, mountain climbing, and guided nature walks.
