This is the fees structure of Mount Kenya University School of Pharmacy. The MKU School of Pharmacy is accredited to offer 3 academic programs as listed below.

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology (DPT)

1. Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPHARM)

Admission Requirements 

KCSE mean grade of B-(minus) with C+ (Plus) in cluster subjects: Biology/Biological Science, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, English/Kiswahili

Or

Diploma in relevant discipline in Health Sciences plus KCSE mean grade C (plain) with C (plain) in cluster subjects: Biology/Biological Science, Chemistry/ Physical Science, Mathematics/Physics, English/ Kiswahili

Or

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology must be Registered by Pharmaceutical Technologists plus KCSE mean grade C (plain) with C (plain) in cluster subjects: Biology/Biological Science, Chemistry/ Physical Science, Mathematics/Physics, English/ Kiswahili

Or

Higher National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology, with Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology plus KCSE, mean grade C (plain) with C (plain) in cluster subjects: biology/biological Science, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, English/Kiswahili.

Fees 

10 semesters:  Ksh.165,300 Per semester

2. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology (DPT)

Admission Requirements 

KCSE mean grade C (plain) and C (plain) in Biology/ Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics/Physics, English/Kiswahili

Fees

3 academic years:  Ksh.34,550 per trimester
