In this article, we will have a look at Nairobi National Park entry fees. It is located about 10 km south of the Nairobi CBD. Established in 1946, Nairobi National Park is the only national park that exists within a capital city. It is also the country’s oldest national park.
The park is among the 22 National parks managed by the Kenya Wildlife Service. It is home to the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, zebras, rare bongo, impalas, jackals, gazelles, antelopes, wildebeests, ostriches, hippos, giraffes and a very diverse birdlife with over 400 species.
Nairobi National Park also hosts the Nairobi Safari Walk, an iconic wooden boardwalk that offers uninterrupted views of the animals. On top of that, the park has Nairobi Animal Orphanage that serves as a treatment and rehabilitation centre for wild animals.
Apart from game viewing, visitors to Nairobi National Park can enjoy picnics, camping and hiking. It also offers a very beautiful backdrop of the city’s scrapers.
