This article focuses on Nation DT Sacco membership eligibility and requirements. Nation DT Sacco was registered in September 1975.
It was formed with the main purpose of affording members an opportunity to accumulate savings & deposits and thereafter providing them with credit facilities at a fair and reasonable interest rate to better their economic well-being.
The society has grown tremendously in the last 10 years in terms of membership, product and service range. It is one of the largest deposit-taking Saccos in Kenya with an asset base of more than 3.00 billion.
Nation DT Sacco Membership Eligibility
Membership was originally drawn from employees of Nation Media Group but the sacco opened a common bond to accommodate all.
Nation DT Sacco Membership Requirements
- Filling in a membership application form.
- Attach a copy of ID.
- Pay an entrance fee of Kshs 1,000.
- Filling in a next of kin/beneficiary form.
- Familiarisation with the sacco by-laws.
- Minimum savings contribution is Kshs 3,000.
- Members joining from another sacco are treated as continuing members and can enjoy all the privileges as long as the other sacco transfers their deposit.
